Dr. Anissa Gastin Morgan
Dr. Gastin is a long-time public educator and currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for the Fort Osage R-I School District. She has presented, conducted workshops, and individually coached others on various topics including leadership, evaluation, difficult employee conversations, employee law, and generations in the workplace. Dr. Gastin also co-owns ComedyCity with her husband Clay Morgan. ComedyCity is an improv comedy club located in Kansas City, MO. As a former speech and theater teacher she found improv was a great way to keep her performing side alive when she transitioned out of the classroom. Almost twenty years later she continues to perform in ComedyCity shows as well as with an all-female group, Pretty.Funny. She and her husband were honored to hold the first Laughs for Limbs event at ComedyCity in order to raise money for Steps of Faith Foundation. She is equally as honored to be a member of the Board of Directors for such a worthy cause. Dr. Gastin lives in Blue Springs, MO with her husband and their two daughters.
