Mitchell Dobson, CPO FAAOP

Mitchell Dobson, began his career in the prosthetic profession fabricating devices working a summer job during his high school years.  He currently works for Hanger, the largest orthotics and prosthetics provider in the United States, as a Vice President and Compliance Officer.  He is intimately involved with compliance and regulatory policy development, audit and investigation.  Mitchell is a certified prosthetist/orthotist, has practiced in several states and was named a fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists in 2005.  He has also had the privilege of volunteering his time internationally to fit landmine victims with free prosthetic devices. 

Mitchell received a certificate in Biblical/ministerial studies in Kansas City and a post-graduate certificate in Health Care Compliance from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.   He currently sits on the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association’s Board of Directors and has served in leadership capacities for other non-profit organizations.

Mitchell is also passionate about sports, owning a sports achievement personalization business called GameBall Graphics with other family members, which services several teams in the NFL and NBA, as well as many colleges. 

He lives in Grain Valley, MO with his lovely bride of over 20 years and two very active sons.
