Kim Carpenter Drake

Kim is vice president at Center for Nonprofit Management and continues to work with CNM as a consultant and educator. Kim has more than 25 years of experience working with nonprofit fundraising, branding and capacity building. During her career, Kim has focused on the development of new initiatives for organizations such as the Nashville Ballet, Nashville Zoo and The Nature Conservancy.

Since beginning her tenure with CNM, Kim has expanded her work to agencies in the areas of health care, conservation, resource management, literacy, advocacy and family services. She focuses her efforts on the identification and strategic alignment of programs to increase community support and improve organizational outcomes through her consulting, workshops, group facilitation and as a speaker for conferences across the state and the region. Kim has a degree in social psychology as well as a Masters of Education in Nonprofit Management and continuing graduate work in conflict management. She is recognized in Tennessee as a Rule 31 Mediator.
