Lindsey Roy

Lindsey Roy is senior vice president and global digital leader for Hallmark Cards, an iconic brand and company based out of Kansas City, MO.

In this role, she is responsible for leading all global digital efforts, including hallmark.com and all direct-to-consumer initiatives. Lindsey has been at Hallmark for twenty-two years, leading various initiatives and groups, including serving as the company CMO prior to this role. Lindsey believes in authentic leadership and the power of meaningful connection. Lindsey was named in 2021 the CMO Creativity and Storytelling Award Winner by the CMO Club.

Lindsey is also a voice on the speaking circuit sharing her personal story. She lost her left leg and sustained serious injuries to her right leg in a boating accident in 2013. Through a challenging recovery process, Lindsey learned impactful lessons on how to harness disruption and find clarity in the chaos. She did a TED talk in 2017 titled “What Trauma Taught Me About Happiness.” Her story has been featured in major publications, such as O Magazine, Fast Company, Forbes and Working Mother. She also showed off her robotic leg in a Kansas City version of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2020, aimed at raising money for underprivileged students. Needless to say, this life experience has led Lindsey to have a deep passion for Steps of Faith and the great work of the organization. Lindsey is also a board member of the national Ad Council and Ability Kansas City.

She has a degree in Journalism & Advertising with a minor in Speech from Kansas State University. Lindsey lives in Kansas City with her husband, Aaron, and children, Mitchell and Morgan.
